Re: Company's use of GUM-OUT

I write regarding our company's use of GUM-OUT. Obviously at this time we only have a limited area of use for the product but on the various substrates we have used the product on, it has been extremely effective in removing wads of chewing gum.

When large numbers of passengers are using the system the amount of discarded gum will increase. I have no doubt that we will be using your product in the removal of these deposits.

I am writing to inform you that we have concluded our tests in the use of GUM-OUT and other agents including a freeze system, for the removal of chewing gum.

I am pleased to inform you that we found GUM-OUT to be the most effective product for this purpose and we are advising our Central Supplies department to replace existing chewing gum removal agents with your product in order that we are able to use it at Lambeth Schools and other civic sites.

RE: GUM OUT

Thank you so much for the free samples of GUM-OUT you so kindly supplied to our Department recently.

We tested the product on two carpeted areas and were very impressed with the results. We also tested GUM-OUT on the Piazza at the NEC, which is concrete and an area where we have had problems with chewing gum in the past. It took a while longer than the carpeted areas but once again we achieved our goal. Also there is no residue or marking of the tested areas so it provides a complete service without having to use more products to clean afterwards.

In the very near future our Purchasing Department will contact you to discuss obtaining our initial order of GUM-OUT.

As a result of your recent mail shot we purchased a batch of your product, GUM-OUT. I must say with slight misgivings, as most gum removal products are not as good as claimed.

However, the problem with gum being a serious nuisance, we decided to give GUM-OUT a try. To our surprise the product certainly handles the job very well even on hard, stamped-in gum. We have used your GUM-OUT on carpets, curtains and children's clothes with great success and will certainly re-order when supplies run short. May I also add that GUM-OUT is easy and reasonably clean to use.

We have tried several different products to remove chewing gum from the carpet in Claire's, and have found Alglas GUM-OUT to be the only viable solution that can remove the gum from our carpet.

Other products have been used without success but we would recommend Alglas GUM-OUT as we have found this to be very effective in removing gum and we will continue to use this excellent product.
