GUM-OUT Usage

HEADING_TITLE

Follow our simple six-step guide to quickly, safely and effectively removing all unwanted gum.

1) To remove chewing gum from carpets, clothing or upholstery, snap off applicator nozzle cover and place nozzle beneath the edge of the gum wad.

2) Gently press the plunger to apply the GUM-OUT solution in 3 or 4 separate places, to ensure wetting the area beneath the gum.

3) Where clothing is involved, apply GUM-OUT directly onto the back of the cloth, behind the gum wad.

4)  Allow GUM-OUT to soak in for 15-30 minutes or longer if required.

5) Remove the chewing gum wad with the spatula supplied, or a knife. Cleanse the area with water or a mild carpet detergent to remove any residue.

6) Replace nozzle and cover after use.

GUM-OUT should not really be used on foam rubber-backed carpets. Care should also be taken if applying GUM-OUT to carpets/carpet tile edging where adhesives have been used. If in doubt, undertake a test on a small area to determine results.

To ensure ease of use, refill the applicator after each use, filling it to approximately half full. This wil avoid any leakage.
